L'Escalade is a top annual event in the festival calendar in Geneva, Switzerland. The festivities (celebrating a historic event dating back to 1602) take place every year on a mid-December weekend, with parades, demonstrations, music, cannon fires, lots of chocolate and mulled wine.
Walking all day on the streets of Geneva, I tried to recreate a bit of the atmosphere of that day.
