In order to be accepted, we must hide. Hide our thoughts, hide our feelings, hide the things that we love and the things that we hate, and ultimately hide ourselves. The physical appearance of girls, in particular, is put up for scrutiny in public, and every single detail is judged and labeled according to our conventional beauty norms. To grow according to your own ideals is tantamount to loving yourself and, in the end, that's all that matters, as long as we don't intrude into the lives of others.
